Its now appears to be en vogue to be hateful and racial in one's speech

Several institutional civil rights organizations like the NAACP have stepped forward demanding an end of abusive & racist language in public discourse

Several recent events makes it clear Tea Party activism is not about political dissent - It's about vile sound bites meant to excite violence

Recent events include

Phone threats left for some members of Congress

Faxes sent with nooses to Black legislators

Vandalism of members of Congress home offices

Threats to members of Congress families
-
Does the tea party hate democrats in general while ignoring republican errors?

You have to wonder where was this patriotism and righteousness and Tea Party activism was during Bush-Cheney?

They didn't get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President
-
They didn't get mad when a covert CIA operative got outed
-
They didn't get mad when the Patriot Act got passed
-
They didn't get mad when we spent over 600 billion(and counting) on said illegal war
-
They didn't get mad when over 10 billion dollars just disappeared in Iraq
-
They didn't get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans
-
They didn't get mad when we let a major US city, New Orleans, drown

They didn't get mad when we gave a 900 billion tax break to the rich

They didn't get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark

But, they finally got mad when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick

You wonder if all the people who want to take to the streets decided they weren't needed for eight years because they thought the country was going so good

Or you wonder if they have just convinced themselves that it's President Obama who must now be stopped

What's going on today isn't the kind of honest debate on which our system of government has been built

Do tea party members hate socialism except when they love it?

Why would a radical libertarian, champion of getting big government off the people’s backs accept a disability check?

Why would lovers of individual self-empowerment accept government grants?

Why are these individuals looking for the 'government' to create jobs?

— Municipal Garbage and Recycling Services –Treatment at Any Hospital or Clinic That Ever Received Funding From Local, State or Federal Government (pretty much all of them) — Medical Services and Medications That Were Created or Derived From Any Government Grant or Research Funding (again, pretty much all of them) — Socialist Byproducts of Government Investment Such as Duct Tape and Velcro (Nazi-NASA Inventions) — Use of the Internets, email, and networked computers, as the DoD’s ARPANET was the basis for subsequent computer networking — Foodstuffs, Meats, Produce and Crops That Were Grown With, Fed With, Raised With or That Contain Inputs From Crops Grown With Government Subsidies — Clothing Made from Crops (e.g. cotton) That Were Grown With or That Contain Inputs From Government Subsidies — If a veteran of the government-run socialist US military, I will forgo my VA benefits and insist on paying for my own medical care.”
